Week 1 - January 19-21, 2024

FROG HOLLER

Hailing from Berks County Pennsylvania, Frog Holler are those “real-deal story tellers” bringing music out of a “rare place of honesty” … these neo-hillbillies with a twist, play mountain blues and country as accessible and modern as the most hummable pop”.

You’ve Got A Friend In Frog Holler!

Week 2 - January 26-28, 2024

I DRAW SLOW

Dublin Ireland roots band I Draw Slow are “a confident and distinctive blend of American bluegrass and Irish sensibility” whose “handcrafted songwriting, sweet harmonies” and “infectious melodies are “spellbinding”.

Their music and their shows are as gritty as they are beautiful!

We're getting ready for another amazing festival at the Wendy!

What a great festival we have planned for 2023! We have something for everyone … You’ll see old friends returning to the mainstage honed after years of forced-woodshedding!

You’ll hear new voices that are sure to put a tear in your beer or make you want to dance! In 2023, we continue many AFF traditions such as the PITR kickoff, two weekends of workshops, Folk Week local musician showcases, and the Banjo Contest!

We are throwing a party featuring our week 1 guest artist Mile Twelve at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub, and celebrating Burns Night with a Piobaireachd Competition! We’re reviving some past favorites too- the evening Community Jam, the Instrument Swap, and a barn dance featuring our week 2 guest artist the Bucking Mules! And don’t forget your instrument- grab a chair let’s get knee-to-knee and pick!

Thanks to our sponsors!

A special thanks to our Anchorage Folk Festival members, sponsors, and volunteers for your continued support. None of this would be possible without YOU. Please consider becoming a member or volunteering today.
