Founded around a bonfire in Palmer, Alaska, in 2019, Roland Roberts and his band have gained a following with their mix of storytelling, electric improvisation, and high-energy live shows. Their albums All About the Timing and So It Goes earned high regards around the world and landed them on several grassroots national tours stretching from the snowy roads of Alaska to dusty highways of the Southwest. With haunting harmonies, in-your-face guitar licks, and sometimes lengthy experimental jams, The Roland Roberts Band captures the wild spirit of the frontier—no matter where they roam.

 

The Roland Roberts Band will be featured in a one-hour set on the Main Stage of the Anchorage Folk Festival on January 31, 2026.
