Interested in volunteering backstage? Send an email to stagemanager@ancfolkfestbackstage.rocks to get onto the schedule. There will be stage-hand training sessions on the main stage at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium on January 21 at 6:30 pm.
Did you know that it takes well over 1,000 volunteer hours during the festival to ensure things run smoothly?
Your help REALLY matters!
When you sign up to volunteer, you will receive a confirmation email, a reminder a week before the date, and day before the date for your volunteer slot. Your contact information will be sent to the Point of Contact for that task, as well as to Pamela Pope, the Volunteer Coordinator, at volunteer@anchoragefolkfestival.org.
Using the name and email you provide, you’ll be contacted about the positions for which you’ve signed up. Volunteers get free admission into the events they volunteer for.

These positions support the dances with our guest artists, selling tickets at the front door or merchandise during the event.
