Applications are now closed for the 2025 Festival Mainstage sets and for Folk Week performances.
On 19 November 2024 the Anchorage Folk Festival (AFF) Facebook/Instagram (FB) account was HACKED and over $3,700 in fraudulent charges were made by the hacker through the AFF FB account. Unfortunately, the other administrators of the AFF FB account have been unable to regain control of the account after exhausting all options through essentially nonexistent FB and Meta “support.” Therefore, in order to protect AFF and our community at large, our only solution is for AFF to delete the current FB account—assuming we can.
Please be vigilant with posts and request coming from the current AFF FB page. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause you. Stay tuned for a new and improved AFF social-media experience in the future. We look forward to seeing you at the Wendy in January!
